Sonia Rubio



Sonia received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Technical University of Madrid (Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid). This included one year that she spent studying at Milan Polytechnic (Politecnico di Milano) in 2005.

At Richard Rogers’ office in Madrid, Sonia participated in a variety of design competitions and projects such as the Malaga Music Auditorium and the Abengoa Technological Campus in Seville. After finishing her Masters she moved to London to join Vidal & Associates Architects to work on the envelope design of the new Heathrow Airport Terminal T2A.

Since joining ABA in 2012 Sonia has had experience of a variety of cultural, residential and master planning projects including Dollis Valley, North West Cambridge Development, South Kilburn Regeneration Masterplan, Durham & Gloucester Court, Severn Place and East Wick & Sweetwater.
