Chen graduated with both his Bachelor and Masters in Architecture at the University of Nottingham in 2017. Prior to which he had gained a Distinction for an Art Foundation at Ravensbourne College. His Master’s thesis investigated and challenged the role that architecture plays in stigmatising mental health conditions.
Chen gained a broad range of design and construction experience at nimtim Architects on a number of small scale housing projects. As an intern at OAC he worked on a Presidential and Memorial Library in Taipei, Taiwan. Keen on engaging with the city, he has volunteered with Open House for the past two years.
Since joining ABA in 2017, Chen has been working on a residential scheme within the North West Cambridge Development.
