John Lawlor


BSc Arch (Hons), MArch, ARB

John graduated with a Masters in Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL and with a BSc in Architecture with First Class Honours from Queens University in Belfast. He has worked as a design tutor and lecturer in construction technology and structural design at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.

Before joining ABA, John worked at Grimshaw on the Terminal 2B building at Heathrow Airport and several other projects in the UK and Singapore. John also worked at Arup Associates on the design of a theatre in Dubai, and at Heneghen Peng Architects on the detailed design of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo. Prior to this he worked at Hackett and Hall in Belfast.

Since joining ABA in 2013, John has worked on Durham & Gloucester Court, Severn Place and Veteran Oak Quarter.
